Reflecting Diversity in Assessment

Assessment processes and tasks reflect cultural and individual diversity

Where it is appropriate, create opportunities to either set assessment tasks in diverse relevant contexts or encourage students to integrate their personal perspectives. Tasks that integrate examples or forms of expression that reflect their cultures or experiences help build meaningful knowledge structures.

Structured Controversy Assignment (Interview with Dr. Robin Mueller)

The Tribal Method of Assessment (Interview with Dr. Ron Glasberg)

Multiple Means of Assessment (Interview with Dr. Ania Harlick)
